A Decade in Hospitality, Now in Financial Advisory
I spent the past 10 years in hospitality, beginning with Hospitality Operations at ITE College West, moving on to Hospitality and Tourism Management at Nanyang Polytechnic, and finally earning my degree in Hospitality Business at the Singapore Institute of Technology. Through those years, I discovered what I truly enjoy: the human connection. Talking to people, sharing stories, and creating experiences they do not forget is what made me love the industry.
When I stepped into financial advisory, I realised that the essence of the work is the same. I still get to connect, listen, and guide. Only now, instead of creating memorable stays in hotels, I create financial clarity that lasts a lifetime.
Why I Do What I Do
I will be honest. When I first considered this career, I was wary of the stigma. But I am grateful I found my way here, because I have met mentors and peers who share my values: to provide advice with no pressure, and to teach rather than sell.
Today, I get to do something I never thought possible: learn every day, and then share that knowledge with others. For me, financial advisory is more than a job. It is a calling that lets me teach for a living, and that makes me deeply fulfilled.

My clients often say they feel at ease knowing I genuinely care, and that they leave with clarity about their next steps. To me, the most meaningful feedback is when clients tell me they can sense how much I love this work, and that they fully trust the advice I give.
Beyond Work
Outside of advisory, I am passionate about growth in all areas of life. Cooking keeps me grounded, reading fuels my learning, and the gym challenges my discipline. Over the past year, I have lost 37 kg and am training toward becoming a certified personal trainer, with a goal of earning my six-pack by the end of the year. For me, fitness and finance go hand in hand: both are about discipline, consistency, and a clear vision of the future.
